April Panel Announcent Art.jpg

We're recruiting panelists from all skill levels—students, emerging filmmakers, and union professionals. They'll share their journeys, how they got started, where to learn, special techniques and fun tips, and what careers in their field are really like. Plus, they'll reveal how creative Hair and Make-Up can transform characters, set moods, and bring stories to life on film—on any budget.

We’re holding the Careers Panels in a public area of the 7th St Market, which opens onto the 7th St Train Station platform, making events convenient by public transportation.  The Market’s merchants offer delicious food and beverages so when the forums end there’s the opportunity to continue dialogues with new acquaintances in a social environment.

Why Are We Trying To Build An Alliance ?

7TH ST Market_edited_edited.png
  • Working people rarely get opportunities to explore beyond their everyday worlds or focus on self-development in in-person welcoming group experiences.

  • Different generations remain isolated within peer groups—yet all ages think clearer, feel less self-conscious, and are more open when engaging in mixed age discussion groups.
