WHAT I'VE LEARNED TEACHING ELDERS

Movies are the magical, transporting art Seniors grew up with. In this workshop we dive into iconic clips from a Classic Movie, analyzing all aspects of its filmmaking; revisiting the film’s historical time; and uncovering it’s behind the scenes trivia. For Seniors it’s a springboard to vivid imagery; fresh perspectives; reminder of the human journey to find purpose; and an uncorking of their own untold stories.

What are the best days and times for your group to meet ? The Film Club Workshop will be for one hour, but it is recommended that you schedule it for 90 minutes. After the Workshop participants often have a lot they still want to say and look forward to unstructured time to talk.
