Many Aspiring And Low-Budget Filmmakers Are Mostly Self-Taught. When they do take classes, it’s usually in a specific area of interest, like scriptwriting or cinematography. Even with on-set experience as production assistants, they might not fully grasp the roles of different departments or how the various crafts collaborate to create a film. Because filmmaking is both complex and expensive, there’s often pressure to jump straight into a project aimed at film festivals. This Class Series offers a chance to step back, take your time, have fun, and focus on truly learning the process.

Charlotte, N.C. residents you can also book an in-house Scriptwriting Class for your group (i.e. social, school, church, family, or friends) of four or more. The Class kicks off with the Story Sharing Game – a fun, collaborative exercise that helps students connect and draw inspiration from their own life experiences to spark creativity.
